Upbeat in down times: strengthening morale and staff engagement- If the strength of your team has taken a hit in the face of recent budget tightening, we can help you build morale, spirit and engagement, and a “can do!” attitude. Trainees will come away with a renewed sense of the purpose and passion in their work, and tools for continuing to build a culture of support and enthusiasm for shared goals and values.
Doing More with Less- Can your group grow in lean efficiency and effectiveness, while still maintaining a sense of caring and valuing for each individual? Yes, and we can help you discover how! Through experiential activities, scenarios and process analysis, your group will gain tools and practice for people-centered efficiency.

Company Meetings/Retreats When your staff are coming together from different locations across campus or across the country (or world), we can design a program that will facilitate collaboration and support between colleagues who may not often work directly with each other. The Hoffman Challenge Course Experience This program begins with a half day of ground level problem solving initiatives and team low elements. As the team grows in confidence and skill, the support and team work continue by donning helmets and harnesses and exploring individual risk taking in a supportive environment on the high challenge course. Your team will navigate some of the Hoffman Challenge Course's 20 treetop level challenges. The reflections at the end of the day will highlight how to transfer the learnings from the day to apply back at work. This is a fun, exciting, and memorable experience! Full day experience best, minimum 6 hours.
Work Styles and Work Types Whether through the Leadership Wheel, Myers Briggs®, or another inventory tool, we'll help you understand your place within the context of each of these models, and how your particular style contributes to your team. ¾ day or longer.
Sailing and Dragon Boating We have teamed up with the Cornell Sailing Center and the Ithaca Asian American Association for an action packed day on the water. Internal teams are set to compete against each other with a point system, perfecting sailing techniques and working together in Dragon Boats*. The more the small group collaborates and communicates, the higher the points. This program can be done with 30-70 people. Extra cost involved.
*Dragon Boats are 15-20 person 40ft canoes, which require teamwork and synchronicity to move swiftly. Each boat is staffed by an experienced navigator and drummer to motivate the team.
Culinary Events Chili cook-offs, dream desserts, and anything in between! We work with chefs in a variety of settings to help you strengthen your team while creating team feasts.
Sustainability Leadership Astute business and organizational leaders now recognize that a focus on sustainability is not a passing fad, but is becoming more and more an essential ingredient toward economic, social and environmental success. But they are also coming to realize that leading an organization toward sustainability requires much more than green technical know-how. In this training, we will help your group develop the social and human skills needed to navigate toward sustainability.
We customize our programs to fit your needs, so combinations of the above are always possible!
