COE is well represented at university-wide "New Wave of Leaders" symposium

As part of the Engaged Cornell initiative, CTLC Director Amy Kohut and fellow interim-Director of Leadership for the Greater Good organized a symposium titled "A New Wave of Leaders" on Tuesday, December 10th.    The symposium was attended by over 100 staff and faculty who represent leadership education, community partnership, and leadership development thought leaders on Cornell's campus.

Cornell Outdoor Education as well attended at the symposium, with attendance by Director Marc Magnus-Sharpe, Coordinators Matt Cowburn, Sarah Myers and Annie Socci, and panel participation by Amy Kohut.  It was exciting to explore topics of leadership, mentorship, curricular and co-curricular student development tracks, and engaged learning.     Cornell Outdoor Education and the Team & Leadership Center are pleased to be at the table for these discussions, and look ahead to what role our organization might play in the implementation of leadership development and engaged learning curricula on campus in the years ahead.
