Kevin has five years of experience in outdoor and experiential education, and also spent four years as a Marine Corps infantry sergeant, largely overseas.
He received his B.S. in Outdoor Recreation from the SUNY Cortland Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Studies Department, joining the Cornell Outdoor Education family in 2013. In addition to working as a facilitator at the Cornell Team and Leadership Center, he leads wilderness trips and teaches outdoor skills such as kayaking, canoeing, and orienteering.
Kevin is deeply committed to inclusive recreation and helping veterans successfully transition after the military.
When not at the challenge course, Kevin works as a paramedic, but is constantly planning his next great adventure. His goal remains "to build a life I don't need a vacation from."
