Backcountry Cooking

Backcountry Cooking

TO SIGN UP email, as the student center is generating errors. Tired of only eating Ramen on trips? Do you wonder about the difference between powdered cheese and real cheese? Ever wanted to learn how to make true gourmet food in the field? This class will introduce students to gourmet skills that can be used in the backcountry including dutch ovens and twiggy fires. COE requires that students attend the first class meeting of their course because of the critical logistics, policy, liability, and safety information that will be covered. If you do not show up for the first class you lose your right to retain your spot on the roster, and we may enroll another student in your place. Students must attend all scheduled classes to receive credit for this course.
