Bike Touring

Bike Touring

Take your bicycle riding to the next level and come learn the ins and outs of bike touring! The course will take you on weekly rides to develop your knowledge of bike safety, road riding and route planning. After four weeks of strengthening your leg muscles and expanding your repair skills, we will embark on a two day bike tour of the Finger Lakes, spending nights camping. You will learn how to live completely car free and become one with your bicycle. You should already be comfortable on a bike and moderately fit to get the most out of this course. Don't have a bike? Don't fret! COE can lend you a bike during class days for an additional $60 fee. Attendance Policy: You can miss one Tuesday class and still receive credit.
