Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing - Section 1

Learn basic rock climbing skills on real rock! We’ll spend a glorious weekend climbing, camping, and relaxing at Minnewaska State Park in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. We will cover climbing equipment and technique, knots, belaying, rappelling, and natural history. As always, an instructor- to-student ratio of 1:4 ensures lots of personal attention and climbing time. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Attendance Policy: All classes are mandatory.
